The Storytelling Lenses are the registry of configurable narrative styles the Storytelling POD selects per scenery slice — the interchangeable optics of the sensory-genome. The directive names three ("this is the knowledge for the Storytelling POD and Playbook" [src: ...:690]):

LensStyle directionApplies best to
Atmospheric rendering (Muir-tradition)"Focus on scale, light, and awe" [src: ...:758]establishing shots, biome reveals, dynamic-island approach, Dawn Cycle
Ecological interconnectedness (Carson-tradition)"Focus on how every action affects the biome" [src: ...:760]knowledge-particle trades, adaptive-intelligence bloom/decay, market node-district scenes
Land-ethic grounding (Leopold-tradition)"Focus on the ethics and value of the work" [src: ...:762]work-cell acceptance, collaborative-intelligence moments, Dusk reflection

Selection model. A lens is a cogni-level configuration: the Storytelling POD assigns one (or a weighted blend) per slice of a scene, so a single camera track through a district can shift from awe (approach) to interconnection (transaction) to ethic (commitment). The org's biome-archetypes register tunes each lens's vocabulary — the same Carson-tradition beat reads differently in a Cyberpunk Metropolis than in a Solarpunk Oasis.

RULE — traditions, not texts. The lens names describe nature-writing traditions used as style directions. The three example lines in the directive are the owner's own prose (quoted in sensory-genome with attribution to the directive). All output generated under any lens is always original prose written in that tradition's spirit; actual passages from any published author are never reproduced.
