The VoidWeb is the raw-intake web — "knowledge not yet knowledge." It is "the unstructured intake layer … It holds every concept and asset swept out of the source corpus that has not yet been promoted into the knowledge base" [src: wiki/voidweb/INDEX.md:3]. It is the first stage of the knowledge pipeline: VoidWeb → atomicweb → holons → dysons [src: HOS-Webdoc/docs/40-hos-specification.md:457].
As infrastructure, "VoidWeb is the data acquisition layer of HOS. It crawls, scrapes, parses, and converts external data sources into knowledge particles that feed the physics engine" [src: HOSv6/docs/26-voidweb-infrastructure.md:3] — a scraper framework (ScrapeJob/ScrapeResult types, rate-limited crawl workers [src: HOSv6/web/src/lib/voidweb/worker.ts:1]) that emits knowledge-particles from web pages, APIs, Gemini exports, Notion pages and component libraries.
Its refinement mechanics are the DIKWC assembly line run by datans: "Datum → Information → Knowledge Particle → (physical weights) → Concept Atom → Holon" [src: wiki/voidweb/DIKWC.md:3] — the semantic stages are agents, the physics stages (mass/charge/spin, spring-gravity clustering) are deterministic. Promotion out of the VoidWeb is what turns void material into atoms of the atomicweb.
Per OWNER-2026-07-10 the VoidWeb is one of the three webs of remotica (void, atomic, holon — see holonweb for the ruling on that layering). It is the void in the literal sense: everything the system has swept in but not yet made mean anything.
