The BlockChain vault is the asset-custody vault type — the second of the OWNER-2026-07-10 vault triad (datachain · BlockChain · quantumchain). Its scope is a three-tier asset ladder, verbatim: Digital Assets, hybrid Assets, Hyper Assets (see hyper-assets for the open definition of the top tier).

Its grounded substrate is Bastion's tokenized economy: "Bastion's proprietary blockchain-based financial ecosystem providing tokenized financial services, spanning digital banking, exchange, trade finance, stocks, and a permissioned proof-of-stake blockchain" [src: concept-validation/concepts/bastion-tokenized-economy/concept.md:10]. Two implemented pieces anchor the tiers:

  • Digital Assets — the HOS Wallet Engine's UnifiedWallet, a multi-currency wallet holding LPz, ORBz, Gem, Token, Medal and Badge balances with transactions and staking positions [src: HOS-Webdoc/web/src/lib/blockchain/wallet-engine.ts:1].
  • Hybrid Assets — the Vault district's HYBRID_ASSETS_SYSTEM and its HybridAsset record type: "tokenizable real-world / digital asset with valuation" [src: HOS-Webdoc/web/src/lib/districts/vault/types.ts:3-64].
  • Hyper Assets — OWNER-new tier above both; definition pending, see hyper-assets.

The BlockChain vault is where value is chained the way the datachain chains operational records: tokenized, permissioned, and traceable within the Vault district (see districts).
